Wanda P. Scanlin's Obituary
Wanda P Scanlin, born June 17th,1948. Wanda went to be with the Lord Monday, December 16th, 2024, at the age of 76 at her home in Katy, Texas.
Wanda was born in Freeport, Texas and was raised by her grandparents in Mobile, Alabama. She later moved into the Houston area where she started her long career in oil and gas. She enjoyed spending most of her time with family, friends, and her beloved animals.
She is proceeded in death with her grandfather and grandmother Leonard and Grace Pierce, Mother Virginia Scholten, and brother Lawrence Pierce Jr and close friend Elizabeth Knight.
Left to cherish Wanda’s memory is her loving husband Rick Scanlin, her children Nathan Tabner, Jason Lauter and wife Trisha Lauter. Her grandchildren Ashley Fields Weese and her husband Aaron Weese, Aaron Fields, Kellie Lauter, and Kylie Lauter. Along with her great grandchildren. Wanda has many nieces as well.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her life is celebrated January 4th 1 to 4pm.
