Michael Charles Frick's Obituary
Michael Charles Frick, 72, passed away peacefully November 16, 2024 in Pearland, Texas after living bravely with Lewy Body Dementia. Michael grew up in South Bend, Indiana and graduated with his bachelor’s from his favorite place on Earth, Notre Dame University. Go Irish! Some of Michael’s most fond memories and proudest accomplishments were from his work at MD Anderson. He helped to plan, implement and manage a nationally recognized program focused on philanthropic support for the institution's mission of eradicating cancer. In 2007, he helped secure the largest single gift in the institution's history at the time, 50 million dollars. He personally raised more than $600 million over the course of his career. Michael is survived by his three sons, James, Andrew (Katelynne) and Theodore; brother, Terry (Cindy); and two sisters, Theresa and Katy. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and his loving brother, Tom. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Creekside Alzheimer’s Special Care Center & Hospice.
