My favorite memory was seeing all the kids (and adults) run to be first in line, as if it were an ice cream truck, to get a bendicion (blessing) from gramma before she left. She was always happy to give you her blessing for a safe trip home and to remind you to be good with a big smile on her face.

She was such a precious woman. I remember working with her at Sweet Home Store and Kitchen. She would sit in the back and make tortillas. She tried to teach me Spanish. I tried so hard to learn! God bless her - she had such patience for me! She was a great teacher and the sweetest lady! She will be missed!
So happy to celebrate 91 years of age 40 days after her stroke on Hospice and no medications.
