Jose Candelario Gonzales' Obituary
On May 16, 2025 our family lost a great father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Jose "Candy" Gonzales, who was 64, passed away in the presence of his only son and daughter-in-law in his residence in Kingwood, Texas.
Jose was born on July 13, 1960 in Houston, Texas to parents Guadalupe Carrillo and Joe Angel Gonzales. He developed a passion for working on cars at a young age. He gave us countless moments of joy that we'll carry with us forever. Candy had a way of turning everyday moments into unforgettable stories. Stories that we'll keep telling - through laughter and tears - because that's how he would wanted to be remembered.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe Carrillo and his brother, Elloy Carrillo.
He is survived by his only son, Joseph Mendoza. God blessed him with grandchildren, Joseph, Nathan, Gianna, and Madison Mendoza and his siblings George, Angel, Maria, and Tricia as well as other loving family members and friends.
