It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jose Angel Escalera beloved husband, father, son, uncle, and friend, who passed away on 7/21/2025 at the age of 37.
Jose Angel was born on 08/19/1987 in Houston, TX to Mireya Garcia and Angel Escalera He grew up in Pasadena, TX , where he graduated and studied as an IT Technician going on to work for Houston ISD. He passed away in his home in Manvel, TX surrounded by family.
He married the love of his life, Leticia Del Carmen Escalera in 2009, and together they built a life raising 2 beautiful children Starr Izabella Escalera and Jacob Angel Escalera. Jose Angel was known for his sense of humor, love of family, and love of scary movies and video games.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leticia Del Carmen Escalera; 2 children: Starr Izabella Escalera and Jacob Angel Escalera. His mother Mireya Garcia and His brother Marc Anthony Vasquez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday 7/26/2025 from 4pm to 7pm followed by a Rosary from 7pm to 8pm. at 13623 Perry Road Houston Tx 77070.
A memorial service will be held on 7/27/2025 at 4pm at 13623 Perry Road Houston Tx 77070. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
Jose Angel will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and light he brought into our lives.
