Candice Jill Conger's Obituary
"Candice Jill Conger passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2024. Jill was born to Tommy Lanier and Joy Easterling on October 16, 1979 in Houston, Texas.
She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2004 and went on to a meaningful career in Special Education at Dulles Middle School.
Jill married Bill Conger in 2005 and they had daughter, Adriah Belle in 2009, and son, Lein David in 2012.
Jill and her family enjoyed taking long road trips. Often taking detours and making impromptu stops along the way to see the lighthouses that she loved.
She never heard of a book she didn't want to read or a child she didn't want to help. And she helped hundreds in her role as ARD Facilitator for Special Education.
But the children dearest to her heart were Addie and Lein. She was a proud and devoted mother who never said no to a carpool or scout campout.
Jill volunteered in the Kids Ministry at River Pointe Church in Richmond, Texas for many years. She loved the Lord Jesus and shared about His grace with many friends throughout the years. We know she has now been rewarded for her faith with His free gift of eternal life.
And until the day we join her there, we will remember her happy laugh and friendship.
Jill is preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Mattie Jo Lanier and Jay and Janie Bennett.
She is survived and dearly missed by husband Bill Conger; children Adriah and Lein Conger; mom and step dad Joy and David Easterling; dad and step mom Tommy and Donna Lanier; sister Sarah Domino and family; sister Laura Gomez and family; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
